All services are subject to review, availability and confirmation. Service availability may vary depending on location, equipment type, equipment quantity, access requirements, data destruction requirements and collection viability.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
You must not misuse this website by introducing viruses, attempting unauthorised access, disrupting functionality or interfering with the security of the website.

Collections, Free Collections and Minimum Requirements
Some IT disposal collections may be provided free of charge where the equipment type, quantity, condition, location, access requirements and recovery value make the collection viable.
Free collections are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Minimum collection requirements may apply depending on the type and volume of equipment, collection location, access requirements, service requirements and whether additional handling, labour, transport or data destruction is required.
Where a collection does not meet the criteria for a free service, a charge may apply. Any applicable charge will be confirmed before the collection is arranged.
WEEE Recycling Planet reserves the right to refuse, postpone, amend or charge for a collection if the equipment, quantity, condition, access details or service requirements differ from the information provided at the time of booking.

Collection
Booking and Enquiry Information
Users are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting an enquiry or booking a collection.
This may include equipment type, estimated quantity, collection address, access details, parking information, lift availability, floor level, loading requirements, contact details and any data destruction requirements.
If inaccurate or incomplete information is provided, we may need to revise the collection arrangement, apply additional charges, postpone the collection or decline the service.
Access and Collection Requirements
Users must ensure that all equipment is accessible, disconnected, prepared and ready for collection at the agreed time.
WEEE Recycling Planet does not uninstall, disconnect, dismantle, remove fixed equipment, remove equipment from racks, detach wall-mounted items or carry out building, electrical or IT infrastructure works unless this has been specifically agreed in writing before the collection.
All items must be ready for collection with suitable access. This includes ensuring that equipment is clearly identified, separated from items not being collected and placed in a safe and accessible location where possible.
Where relevant, users should provide clear access instructions, including details about stairs, lifts, loading bays, parking restrictions, security procedures, site contacts and any health and safety requirements.
If our team cannot complete a collection due to access issues, unavailable equipment, equipment not being ready, incorrect information, site restrictions or additional work not agreed in advance, the collection may be rearranged, refused or subject to additional charges.
Collection Timeframes and Waiting Time
Where a collection timeframe is provided, the client must ensure that equipment is ready and accessible during that agreed timeframe.
Our collection team is not required to wait beyond the agreed collection timeframe if equipment is not ready, access is not available, the site contact is unavailable or the collection cannot proceed for reasons outside our control.
If our team is required to wait beyond the agreed timeframe and we agree to remain on site, additional waiting time may be charged by the hour.
If the collection cannot be completed within the agreed timeframe due to client-side delays, access issues or equipment not being ready, the collection may be treated as a failed collection and charges may apply.
User Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that all equipment is disconnected, accessible and ready for collection as agreed.
Users must ensure that they have the authority to dispose of any equipment provided for collection, recycling, reuse, resale, destruction or processing.
Users are responsible for identifying any sensitive requirements before collection, including data destruction requirements, asset reporting needs, access restrictions, safety concerns or site-specific instructions.
Users should ensure that any equipment not intended for collection is clearly separated from equipment being collected. WEEE Recycling Planet will not be responsible for collecting incorrect items where they have been presented or identified for collection by the client.
Equipment Ownership and Authority
By providing equipment for collection or processing, you confirm that you own the equipment or have permission from the owner to arrange its disposal, recycling, reuse, resale or destruction.
WEEE Recycling Planet shall not be responsible for disputes relating to ownership of equipment provided for collection.
Once equipment has been collected and processed, it may not be possible to return it.
Data Protection and Data-Bearing Devices
We take data protection seriously and use structured processes to support secure handling of data-bearing devices.
Users are responsible for notifying us of any data destruction requirements before collection or processing.
Data-bearing devices may include computers, laptops, servers, hard drives, SSDs, tablets, mobile phones, storage media and other equipment capable of storing information.
Our services are designed to support responsible data handling and relevant data protection requirements where applicable, but users remain responsible for ensuring their own internal data protection obligations are met.

Data Destruction and Documentation
Where data destruction is included as part of the agreed service, we may provide documentation confirming how data-bearing equipment has been handled.
Documentation may include a Data Destruction Certificate, Serial Number Asset Report, Waste Transfer Note or other relevant processing records, depending on the service agreed.
The availability and type of documentation may depend on the equipment, service level, collection scope and processing route.

Reuse, Recycling and Disposal Routes
Equipment collected by WEEE Recycling Planet may be assessed for reuse, refurbishment, resale, donation, recycling or material recovery where appropriate.
Equipment that is not suitable for reuse may be directed toward WEEE recycling and appropriate processing routes.
Data-bearing devices are handled according to the agreed data destruction or processing requirements before reuse, recycling or disposal where applicable.
Charges, Cancellations and Changes
Where charges apply, these will be confirmed before the collection or service is arranged.
Charges may apply for small collections, low-value equipment, specialist handling, additional labour, difficult access, failed collections, remote locations, on-site data destruction, waiting time or services outside the agreed scope.
If you need to cancel or change a scheduled collection, you must contact us as soon as possible.
Collections must be cancelled or rearranged at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection date. If a collection is cancelled, rearranged or postponed by the client within 48 hours of the scheduled collection date, charges may apply.
We reserve the right to charge for cancellations, failed collections, late changes or postponed collections where costs have already been incurred, where insufficient notice has been provided or where the collection cannot be completed due to client-side issues.
